Seems to be a devastating power puncher. Really tall for a heavyweight at 6-8, has decent hand speed for a big guy, and throws crisp short punches, but fights a little stiff, lacks the distance control you'd like to see from somebody his height as his jab and footwork aren't really all that, and leaves his chin exposed quite a bit when throwing combinations. From his amateur days and gym stories, apparently he doesn't have the sturdiest beard either. Also, when pressed, I've noticed he just goes into a really basic earmuff guard. Hasn't really stepped it up past the British scene yet, so plenty of unknowns exist, but overall, he looks pretty promising given the talent pool in the division.

To be honest I'm not sure it was even a close race this year.

Price has had an incredible start to his career. He's just yet to take a punch since being stopped in the olympics many moons ago.

What makes you think Price is glass jawed? He has fought some heavy punchers and not been in trouble once. Judge him on his next fight before you make silly accusations.

Wait until he steps up the opposition and time will tell. I think as an
overall fighter he has a few faults but he is young and we will have to
see how he grows and fights as time progresses.

People need to stop with the silly posts. This topic says prospect of they year. Prospect meaning there are still plenty of things to improve on. But, if his chin was poor I doubt he would be named prospect of the year.
