Without a doubt, it'd be Hamed v Barrera.
Change it to a Hamed 'w' and THEN he STILL retires young, that'd been the perfect ending to a great career. |

Thomas Hearns vs Sugar Ray Leonard 1, he is the only guy to outbox SRL he deserved that fight(not that Leonard didnt), this is my absolute #1
And JMM vs Pac 3, JMM deserves to be 2 1 1 against Pac!! |

DLH-Trinidad: Oscar really lost his single-minded devotion to the sport. He REALLY lost it for good following the Mosley II robbery, but this fight was the end of prime motivated DLH. It would have been nice if he stayed a prime, full-time fighter longer than he did. Revise to DLH UD.
McClellan-Benn: No one deserves what happened to Gerald, especially since he got Rabbit punched a lot in that fight. Revise to G-Man KO. Pacquiao-Marquez 4: I'm a big fan of Manny, but that being said, I wouldn't have been devastated if he lost or even got TKO'd. It was uncomfortable to see him out like that though. I thought he was dead or seriously hurt for a little while. I don't want to see something like that happen to anyone in boxing. I wouldn't even want to see something like that happen to a dick like Floyd or Broner. Revise to any other outcome except something that made me think he might have suffered permanent injury. |

Thanks guys. I'm getting some great responses in here. Some I considered, many I remember, and quite a few that ended the way I liked, but can see why another might like changed.

thing about that, when you keep winning, its hard to turn down the next big pay day...i dont think that he would have retired that early had he not lost....

another one that comes to mind is the fight Aaron Pryor lost in the trials that kept him from being a part of the 1976 olympic team. Cant remember who he lost to, but everyone thought he won. Had he been a part of that highly publicized olympic team, his entire life would have been different, dude was never given any respect.

Mayweather vs Castillo I. I watched it live and honestly gave it to Castillo by decision. That following week, some of the kids in my high school were saying that Mayweather lost that fight as well.
I just wonder what would have happened had he not gotten that decision. Would he still be who he is now? |

Hatton vs Mayweather - took me a while to get over that one - still hate Cortez, especially after he let Hopkins get away with murder against Joe - double standards

Nice to see Holmes was humble about it all though.
