I just hope Haye doesn't get the fight. That prick is only out for what he can do for David Haye. He talks an epic game then goes on to do absolutly fuck all. Plus he's deluded in thinking Vitali vs himself is a fight anyone wants to see.

In comparisopn to Vittles who needs the lions share of the money and choice of venue afyer saying it wasn't about money?

And don't kid yourself, there wouldn't be another more watched heavyweight fight out there than this one.

Vitali is still undecided? Is his brain OK? It's not that hard to decide is it?
Retire or go into politics?

Just strip this old man and let Arreola-Stiverne fight for it.

You want to see a couple second-rate fighters who don't deserve the opportunity in Arreola and Stiverne fight for and subsequently lock up the vacant WBC title, the only one the real champ doesn't already own?

Are you a fan of boxing?

I think anyone who cares about the sport wants to see Wlad and someone worthy of the opportunity fight for the vacant title once Vitali finally retires. The last thing we need is one "legitimate" title locked up in something resembling the Don King WBA league again.

I think it's simpler not to give a shit about that belt. Fuck it, we all know who the champ is. Adding another strap isn't going to mean shit. The more value people place on each governing body the more they're able to mess up the division.

I agree that belt won't really mean shit, but I don't want to see another sequestered heavyweight league (think Povetkin or Valuev) that some with short memories (or new fans) will come to view as a "major title" again.

This would be nice, but I don't think it can happen as Wlad is unrated by the WBC. Best case scenario is one of these guy wins and gets offered a Monterey payday to unify. Otherwise we just have another meaningless paper champion.

I agree :/ I honestly think Wlad at this point is more concerned with legacy than money, so I have little doubt he would offer such an overly gracious split to whoever wins the vacant WBC.
