Default Bill Bossio

Anyone know whatever became of this guy? He was the first successful fighter Angelo Dundee ever worked with. I haven't found an obituary or anything. Like Curtis Sheppard, he seems to have simply disappeared:

Surf, I served with Bill Bossio in the Navy at the Amphibious Base at Little Creek ,Va. He was a short guy ,very powerful who when I was there, I never saw box. When I next heard of him was years later when I saw his name in the papers, of him boxing. And he was a tough fighter who in 1954 fought the great much taller featherweight Sandy Saddler, who tkod Bill Bossio... I too wonder what became of him. How the years fly !
