Default If boxing say got a make over and had just 8 weight divisions-

If boxing say got a make over and had just 8 weight divisions-

200 + Heavies

200 - Cruisers

175 - Light-Heavy

160 - Middle

147 - Welter

135 - Lightweight

126 - Featherweight

122 - Batamweight

Whilst the heavies, cruisers, light-heavies wouldnt change that much...Id be very interested to see who would be the top 10 in say the middleweight, welterweight and lightweight.

Say we still had 4 titles, how would the welters look like?

Would guys like Trout and Alvarez try to make it or have to go to 160....would Broner just decide to stay at 135 ?

I gave 147 a go-

1. F. Mayweather
2. J.M.Marquez
3. M. Pacquaio
4. D. Garcia
5. T. Bradley
6. L. Peterson
7.A. Khan
8. D. Alexander
9. P. Malignaggi
10. K. Brook

What do you guys think, anyone care to have a go....id like to see what would happen to 160...would a guy like Froch be able to make it or have to go to 175?

Why would you keep the 4 titles?

Brook isnt even a top 15 147 fighter.

I suppose you dont want a F. Patterson situation....you know where he avoided Liston for what 4 years?

Anyhow whats your welters or middleweight division look like....any guys you think would move up or down.

Think G. Groves would move to middle
