Default Mundine's f*******s pulled every dirty trick in the book to take Geale's Titlle...

After reading all the details again, I am even more confident that Mundine has no chance. Mundine won't get away with his bullshit this time.
Not surprising that a rematch was ordered and Mundine ducked it.

Enjoy your retirement Anthony...Perhaps you and Lance Armstrong should meet up and discuss your "fantasy... legend in your own minds" lives.

Mundine will disappear off the map...will leave no legacy...and in a few years... it will be "Anthony Who?"

IBF president Daryl Peoples will fly to Australia to supervise the Daniel Geale-Anthony Mundine rematch.

Geale-Mundine I erupted in 2009 amid cries of a judge being intimidated and complaints that Mundine was given valuable recovery time after the tape on his gloves repeatedly came loose.
Mundine won the fight by split decision to take Geale's IBO middleweight title, but the fight was so controversial the IBO demanded a rematch.
Peoples is so adamant there will be no repeat this time that he is to oversee proceedings.
With the fight only a week away and both fighters in the final stages of their preparation, the judging is becoming a major focus - despite both Geale and Mundine being confident they will win by knockout.
Geale's promoter, Grange Old School boxing, is co-promoting the fight with Mundine but has sought an extra assurance of level conditions by getting leading American referee Robert Byrd appointed to be the third man in the ring.

Grange Old School manager Garrie Francisco said no chances were being taken. "It's too important," he said.
Controversy has dogged the first fight since it emerged that members of Mundine's entourage stood over and abused English judge Marcus McConnell whenever he awarded a round to Geale.
McConnell later told IBO supervisor Phil Austin the scores were then relayed to Mundine's corner, from which he received a fresh barrage of insults and abuse.
After McConnell awarded Geale the 10th round, for instance, a member of Mundine's corner accused him of being a racist.
Austin later confirmed that McConnell had told him what happened but said it was too late after the fight to take official action.
The bitterness for Geale is that McConnell's scorecard was the decider, giving the fight to Mundine 114-113 after the other two judges were divided on their winner.
For such reasons, Francisco said all assurances have been taken to ensure the judges are left alone, including the hiring of extra security to surround the ring.
"Peoples is coming out to make sure nothing like that happens again," Francisco said. "There will be extra security but you won't notice them. They'll be a fly on the wall."
He dismissed Mundine's previous claims that Geale has the judges on side so he will need to win by knockout, saying all three judges are Australians - Charlie Lucas, Ray Reed and Tony Maretta - and referee Byrd adjudicated the Mundine v Bronco McKart fight last July, but has not refereed Geale before.
The controversial loss is the only stain on Geale's career and the main motivator behind his rematch with Mundine, even though many believe it is a step backwards now that he is a legitimate IBF world champion.
Geale went into the 2009 fight as IBO world champion, a lightly regarded belt, with Mundine the challenger.
After the protest was lodged the IBO reviewed the fight - which included three independent judges watching with the sound down so as not to be influenced by the commentators - and all three scored Geale the winner, so the IBO ordered a rematch.
But instead of fighting Geale, Mundine relinquished the title to fight lightly regarded Argentinian Alejandro Gustavo Falliga in Tasmania,

No surprises there

Considering Phil Austin already stated that the IBO judge wasn't intimidated and scored that round to Geale. It is a pointless article and typical of the telegraph, Choc wants a level playing field that is all.

Interesting...
At the time this was going on, and then after the decision was made, Austin was here and claimed it was a again a split decision, but this time to Geale.

IIRC, Austin claimed that if all 3 judges had scored it to Geale, they would have overturned the result, but because it was split, they only ordered a rematch.

Anyone else remember this?

Of course I remember.

The article is incorrect, it is another Mundine hatchet piece from the telegraph.

As awful as the IBO are, Phil Austin>The telegraph as a source.

Did you think posting a rhyme at the end lent credence to your boring borderline racism?
