He took some flush shots from good punchers through his career, and faced a good deal of decent to good punchers. You only need to watch his fights to know that. Granite...No! Glass...No! Somewhere in between depending on who is judging it and their hate or love for the guy. Above average IMO, but not iron or granite by any stretch. |

Instead of false opinions, I'll give you a fact: Lennox refused the rematch |

This is moronic. So you're either saying he had the best defense in heavyweight history, because only two flush punches landed in his entire career, or you're saying you're an idiot. Which is it?

Lewis' chin was about a 7-7.5/10, with Ali being a 10. And fighters such as Holyfield, Tyson, Frazier etc. being about 8-9
I'd say his chin wasn't the strongest attribute he had, but it was good enough to allow him to be the best heavyweight of the '90's in a pretty damn good division. |

I am not sure I would call it an iron chin? When I think of ATG chins among HW's he does not come to mind. He has a very good chin, much better than his detractors say. He is likely the next level w/ a solid chin, but not quite Iron.

I like Lennox as much as the other guy.. But to say he has one of the best chins is laughable..
Not even in the same category as Ali's.. |

This still baffles me, how people argue so much over who was winning before a fight was stopped.

Is that why he was practically out on his feet against Mavrovich? Mavrovich is a huge puncher all of a sudden, he will be delighted to know. Brittards... |
