he says we'll know whether the RIgo-Donaire fight is going down by the end of the week. he say's they made Rigo an offer. also claims it's impossible to work with GBP.
when it comes to him discussing GBP it sounds a whole lot like the BS he was saying when the Pac-May fight was trying to get done... but anyway, check it out. |

From the way he talked I think it is mainly networks but I can't be sure of that. Shit for all we know Mares and/or Donaire have contracts saying they and their opponents have to use a certain glove. Show might still have 'rights' to Mares from their tourney. They saw Ward slip away too fast and may have been determined not to be the 'minor leagues' for HBO again when they did the second tourney and demanded more from the winner. Arum keeps coming back to this point about HBO being good to Donaire. He won't bite that hand and take him to Show since he claims Show has blackballed him.
