Nobody is implying he's put on over 1 & a half stone of tissue weight, but it is possible to put that much weight on after dehydrating/starving yourself to make weight through water, glycogen and just having more food in your GI tract again.

Matthysse is awesome, he is undefeated in reality. He will knock out the winner of Garcia/Judah fight.................he has already beaten Judah once, but this time he will finish him off so as not to be cheated by the damned American criminal judges!

I must say I really have a lot of time for Lucas Matthyse. I knew he was really good when he was to fight Ajose but was confident that Ajose would win but it was in that fight I realised that he was even better than I thought which believe me is saying something. He is more than just a power puncher he is a real good technical boxer fighter. I look forward to a rematch between him and Ajose. I believe Matthyse will stop Danny Garcia who to be fair I believe is improving all the time.

I agree Lucas is a very sound technician he's not just a brawler he's deceptively good and is patient and breaks his opponents down or just knocks them out .

Yeah Skills Matthyse is a really good fighter. I am not down on Danny Garcia because I actually think he is improving having seen him an many fighters just not yet the finished article though to be fair to him he keeps winning. However I knew that Matthyse was a much tougher proposition than Garcia and when they put forward Matthyse to face Ajose for the WBC Interim world title which had to be taken I could see the hand of Al Haymon and Golden Boy Promotions.

Ajose should be in the position to fight again soon once a few things are resolved. Everyone is now aware that he is world class. Both Ajose and Matthyse would beat Garcia but like I have always maintained Garcia is getting better all the time. I think his management and promoters have done an excellent job in buying him time.
