Interesting Boxing Statistics Thread

Afternoon Fella's.

Not sure if done before but thought might be worth making a thread for it as it's always interesting IMO to look at stats in sports on different levels.

Lucas Matthysse as Al Bernstein said last night has now 20 KD's in last 9 fights and 11 First round KO's.

Impressive. Not expecting it to be a major thread but drop some mad stats when you see it. Just mark it in bold so it's clear for people.

Anthony Mundine is the only fighter to have every pro fight (48 so far) broadcast on PPV.

I think that's a great stat

Carl Froch: 4 KD's (2 coming in last outing with Mack) in his 9 world title fights. 4 Stoppages in those 9 world title fights.

I'm guessing the same is true with Bobby Gunn. Got brought in as an opponent for Enzo Macc despite not having a recognisable name on his record. Then somehow got a fight with Adamek a couple of years later

I wonder if there's someone who got three completely undeserving title shots?

Bean nearly did he fought moorer and holyfield for title then fought vitali for wba inter-continental title he was so close! he must of had a great manager/promoter
