Default Tyson Fury vs Steve Cunningham on 20th of April

Tyson Fury is eyeing up an April 20 clash with former cruiserweight world champion Steve Cunningham.

Fury had been hoping to make his American debut on St Patrick's Day but instead had to settle for a fight a month later, and his trainer Peter Fury says that they are looking to name Cunningham as the opponent.

Good fight for Fury. Cunningham will make him work hard for the win because there's no way they'll rob Steve after the Adamek fight. Fury will either have to stop him or outbox him from behind the jab. When he's on his A-game I think Tyson is more than capable of doing either to be honest.

Clever choice of opponent for Fury - a feather-fisted midget who poses no threat yet is still seen as credible because he was robbed against a big name in his last fight (who also happens to be a feather-fisted midget).

While I like USS, he has no place at HW and won't beat anyone who isn't either also a blown-up cruiser or has major technical limitations.

Fury, for all the stick he gets, has become a much better technical fighter over his last few fights and this combined with his huge physical advantages over USS should see him win a wide UD/possible KO with Steve's suspect chin. USS may cause him some problems early on and take 2-3 rounds but I can't see him winning this.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I like the fight. I think it's just fine. It works. Cunningham wouldn't be given a shot in hell against Volo, but his showing against Adamek earns him some credibility at heavyweight, and should have earned him a good payday with some other name heavyweight contender. Enter Tyson. USS could offer great experience for Fury-will be trying a ****load harder than Johnson, in all likelihood-and brings a championship name to Fury's resume, if he wins like he will be favoured to do. It's a good payday for both, probably, and as I said, Cunningham earned that and, yeah, the exposure for Fury. It's just a good match to make, right now. For the division and both guys, I think.

Good fight for Fury although the whole of the WBC side seem to be treading water until Vitali decides on his retirement.

Never rated Fury at first but it's becoming harder not to respect the guy.
His technical ability is much improved from a few fights ago, his strength and conditioning seems to be coming along nicely too.

Still think Price beats him ATM but Prices career seems to be moving very slowly for a 29 year old.

This is exactly how I feel too.

Maloney seems to be holding Price back in my opinion.

After watching Skelton and Price my conclusion after that fight is Price's feathers are gonnar be ruffled very soon... I think fury out boxes Price all day long BUT Price could blast Fury out, i definately lean massively towards Fury if they ever meet..

If he's fighting British level opponents then he needs to be busier. Three round fights arent telling as much as we'd like to know at this stage. That said Thompson is durable and somewhat on the same level as Kevin Johnson who Fury fought recently.

No way Fury outboxes Price, Price is has far superior technical skills. Fury would have a chance of knocking him out though.

Price has way more power than Fury and I'm still not convinced that Price has a glass chin, Fury's isn't exactly titanium either though.

Great fight for the 24 year old Fury, can call it a joke fight all you want but the fact of the matter is,Fury is still a kid,Cunningham has much more experience, good learning fight.
