It's doubtful Wlad would have stayed upright or made it out of the first round against a prime Iron Mike.

Vitali would have, but he would have taken a brutal beating in the process.

Iron Mike at his very best was as good as there's ever been and probably better.

Tyson would put Wlad into intensive care and retire him from boxing.

Not at all, bro.

You won't find a single disparaging post of mine about the Klitschko's on this board (unless you want to count my previous one).

Like all non-American heavyweights, the Klitschko's are vastly underrated in terms of their historical significance (as is Lennox Lewis btw).

I just think that Iron Mike at his very best was better than anyone who came before him or any of those that have been since.

I'm talking the version of Iron Mike that reigned from the Trevor Berbick fight through until the Michael Spinks fight. Thereafter, Tyson was eminently beatable.

He got robbed against Macall in 1996 after he had just knocked Lewis the **** out. He was still fully capable in 1988. Do you think it would of been different against a 1982 Holmes?

Prime Tyson was annihilated by tomato can Buster Douglas.

Either Klitschko easily destroys Prime Tyson.

Yes. Larry would have lasted twice as long and maybe gone the distance.

Please re-read my previous post to you.

Iron Mike's "prime" ended at the Michael Spinks fight.

As I expressly stated, "thereafter he was eminently beatable".

A prime Iron Mike easily underworked Tony Tucker who stopped a prime Buster Douglas.

Dont agree. Larry got knocked out when he began to replicate his old self in the 4th on his toes popping the jab. Tyson's style was built around getting in under the jab. Would of been the same result, maybe only a few rounds later.
