Lucas applies waaaay to much pressure for Amir to stand up to it. IMO
Arguably Matthysse punches harder than his compatriot Maidana & has better fundamentals. Amir takes alot of shots & would not have the punch it takes to make a Lucas type respect him. Again... IMO I'd pick LM by stoppage mid Rds. |

Matthysse lays him out and early. Khan cant take a punch, and everyone knows it now. Hell, he fought a bum in his last fight and looked shook as hell. Gonna end up like Audley.

Matthysse would actually kill Khan.
The fight to be made at 140 to decide the #1 is Danny Garcia vs Lucas Matthysse, without a doubt. These two are clearly the best in the division, are both on a great run of form and are with the same promotor. The fight makes perfect sense and has to happen. |
