Arguably Matthysse punches harder than his compatriot Maidana & has better fundamentals.

Only way Khan beats him is if he learns how to survive close range. He can't maintain boxing and moving constantly for the whole duration of the fight. It's next to impossible and he'll drain himself of energy (like he did against Peterson and Maidana). Lucas will be in his face all night and will drag him into the trenches. Khan, during those moments, just needs to learn how to survive and not sustain too much punishment.

Khan has size and brilliant handspeed. He is not..... and I'll say it for the nine-hundredth time.... some master boxer. Moreover, he's not especially difficult to hit.

ps And before you assholes start saying I'm jumping on the bandwagon after the Matthyssee-Dallas fight, wrong-- I didn't see the KO and I have been predicting that Lucas would stop Khan for MONTHS.

Exactly. I'm still surprised when people hold so much stock in Khan. Those that say he's still young and can still do this and that... I think, fighting-wise he's pretty old. He's been in some wars, been rocked a lot of times and he has changed his preparation and fight tactics on more than one occasion. By this age, he should be honing his style and looking to perfect it. Against Garcia he adopted a downright idiotic game plan and was KO'd. Badly. The way I see it, he's back to square one. He is where he was against Prescott, except he has aged. Yes he's in better shape etc, but that means nothing when you can't implement it.
