Sam Soliman doped up against Sturm?

German media reports that Soliman's A sample was tested positive for a "performance increasing stimulant". German media doesn't give the exact name of the substance, the german boxing federation already informed team Soliman, NADA and the IBF.

If team Soliman demands it, the B sample will be tested,too.


How do you guys see this playing out? I guess it is likely that the fight gets either ruled a nc or a Sturm win by the IBF. Soliman's fight with Geale should be off, too.

How can they confirm it yet not name what the drug is do you realize that, that alone just doesnt make sense

The info doesn't come out of the Sturm camp it is from the german boxing confederation. Testing results already confirmed by NADA.

He has always been built like that and his last fight was the first time he had stamina problem a he is just getting old losing muscles will only make hit weaker He should fight Abraham or Golovkin and retireIm no fan of his but its obvious that he isn't the fighter he once was

He never was a big puncher.
He said before the fight that he trained very hard to increase his punching power. Thats just wrong. He shouldnt do much weight lifting at his age.

Of course he is not the fighter he once was, but even an old Sturm should do better against Soliman.
