Where do you rate Oscars performance over Mike?
Is it in the top 3 of his career higher or lower ?

Its Ike Quartey, not Mike

The Golden Girl got an absolute gift in that fight, it was a terrible decision that still pisses me off.

Oscar was poor but was given rounds based on the crowd screaming every time he threw a punch.

He rally'd back in a close fight , took championship rounds and deserved the victory for a brave and valiant performance full of heart and determination.

I have Ike by 3 or 4 everytime I score it.

Giving Oscar the first 4 rounds? Thats beyond generous imo

people who score it to Oscar goto sleep for the first 2:50 of every round and wake up for the patented end of round flurry, which usually hits air and gloves

AP had id 116-111, Boston Globe had it 116-112, LA Times had it 6-4-2 in rounds, all to Oscar. Those are all the ringside cards I have. I think this one might have looked a little different on tv.

Ike never got a fair crack of whip in America, they seemed desperate to get his belt & after he wrecked Philips none of the bigboys wanted to know.

The Oscar fight wasnt the only time he suffered from poor scoring &/or refereeing.

I remember the fight being close and after oscar got dropped he did absolutly nothing until the last round. He clearly lost.
