I think he was talking about Rigondeaux, if not he's a troll

Please happen. I'll gain some respect for Nonito if he actually signs, even if he loses the fight.

Because the fighter Rigondeaux's faced in the last two years are SOOOOOO much better than Donaire's?

Not at all, but at least if this fight goes through Nonito has showed that he's stopped ducking. The fans have wanted it and Nonito has no problem mentioning Rigo so he's finally putting up or shutting up. Rigondeaux is obviously a masterful boxer who is very confident of beating Nonito. Rigo isn't the average 11 fight fighter, he's won two gold medals and a lot of people think he can beat Nonito. He's a champ so give him a fight, Rigo is no worse than the fighters Nonito has been facing so he has no reason not to fight him. Saying he hasn't beaten anybody doesn't cut it, that just makes it sound like Nonito is being a pussy. If he fights Rigo he gets respect. If there was no demand for the fight and Nonito just dismissed Rigo then that would be fair enough but Nonito wants to talk about Rigo and the fans want it. That means the fight should happen. Despite that Nonito has showed that he's reluctant to fight Rigo, hence the accusations of ducking. Pretty simple really isn't it.

Rigo is #1 in the ring rankings, Mares #2. Mares turned down the April date. Not gonna start that here though. Plenty of threads already.
