Meanwhile, Mundine's close ally, rugby league player and part-time boxer Sonny Bill Williams created a stir by labelling the fight judges as "corrupt" on Twitter.

Earlier Williams tweeted a photo of he and Wallabies player Quade Cooper with Mundine.
"Hanging out with @Anthony-Mundine celebrating a victory. We don't pay attention to corrupt judges!" he wrote on Twitter.
At 9.28am today Williams apologised for his earlier tweet.
