He was supposed to fight Towers.

He's ok. It would have been close but Browne has bad defence and an awful slow reaction to jabs. If Towers 1,2'd all night and kept away from Lucas's big right, he'd win.

This was where he was supposed to fight Towers, but Towers lost his ear or whatever.

hes an interesting fighter. kind of slow footed but has power and fast hands for a big dude. keeps his hands kind of low.

The criticism that Lucas is slow I think it unwarranted. Lucas has moved around as much as has been necessary against the level of opposition he has faced thus far. They've all gone into their shells when they've been hit with a few heavy punches. Against a higher level of opposition you will see a different fighter. Lucas is smart in that he doesnt expell uneccessary energy and gas out like a lot of HW's do early on. Economy of movement. I do have a question mark on the tightness of his defence, but again for me this will be answered when he steps it up in opposition. He's yet to face anyone that he's needed to seriously defend against. Has been happy to take a few hits to meet out the punishment.

He'd have stopped the frankly useless Towers.

Towers needed a ref to bail him out last time, I think that says it all tbh.
