Oh so because Andre Ward opens his mouth, that means Kell Brook is exactly that now?

Some of you guys need to wake up and smell the punnanni.

Listen, people be saying this for ages bout Brook, just because a fighter says something, doesnt mean that **** is new and relevant cause they said so. I mean Andre only on social zombiedia winding up UK boxing fans, because he cant sell ****, is a nobody, but a very very good boxer. He aint the HBO goldenboy, unlike some, so he having to blart out through social media to spark controversy and get people hatin' but payin', bitin' but likin'

Ya dig?

Social Zombiedia being used as the vehicle and tool to get the attitude across.

If you want to unlock the key for this fight, look at who Alexander been in with and then look at Kell Brook's list. Its in another league. Alexander been in with better, beat better fighters. Been fighting at a higher level for a lot longer, this is Brook's first step and first true test, he aint fought anyone of the calibre of Alexander's opponents.

Carson Jones nearly ended the journey prematurely. Luckily Brook pulled through by the skin of his teeth, and got a warning. But people were saying Carson Jones was a bum and Brook would destroy him before the fight, and it never happened!!! And out come all the excuses from the Brook camp to cover over the cracks, to cover up the fact Kell Brook showed mental weakness and fragility during a fight, Brook's nose got busted and he didnt want anymore!

A broken nose for a fighter aint good, we understand that, but my word, Kell Brook is going on like he is special, like this is his time, "the next big thing" all that......are we forgetting this same fighter nearly never even got this "arrival" fight, had Carson Jones pulled out the victory that night?

Alexander is gonna frustrate Kell Brook like ****. To Alexander and his team, Kell Brook is just another Randall Bailey, one dimensional with not enough output or pressure. Yes Brook has crisp punches and timing, but Alexander don't play that game, Alexander is like a fly you cant catch and really ****es you of, in and out, in and out, side to side. He destroys you with movement. If Brook wants to stop that, he better catch him with one of the best timed punches he has ever threw as a boxer.

If not, and he is made to miss all night. Kell Brook will grow frustrated and start throwing it away 6 rounds onwards. Brook dont throw enough volume to neutralize the movement of Alexander. Brook tries to throw perfectly executed punches 100% of the time, Brook throws crisp punches, but slow punches and only ever digs to the body with a straight and occasionally when coming in to exchange with a jab to the body, he tries to finish combo's by stepping out with a jab.

Easy work for Alexander and the power people in the US know it. + He was already in there with an Ingle fighter before - Junior Witter, who gave up, showed a lack of mental toughness. Couldn't catch Devon like he thought he would be able to before the fight, ultimately gave up.

If Kell Brook wins this fight, he stops Devon Alexander. But I cant see a stoppage. I'd like Kell to win the fight. But....

Alexander UD.

That would mean that basically no one can ever step up to the top table because they've never fought at that level, therefore they will lose.

Thankfully it's never worked that way, a record no matter how well stacked never decides a fight.

True

I agree, but people saying "Alexander is ****, and Brook is going to blow him out".......based on what though?

If Brook beats Alexander, I'd go as far to say that he has caused a shock and an upset, purely because Brook aint fought anyone compared to what Alexander has been in with. Brook is the underdog, Brook is the nobody looking to make a name for himself.

If he struggled against Carson Jones, then IMO, this is a step to far, a bit to soon. If Brook had 1 more, maybe 2 more fights against credible opposition and came through with flying colors, I'd be picking Brook in this fight.

Hope you can see where I'm coming from

Tell me one Brook fight against top opposition where it shows Brook can beat Alexander?

The fact is, there aint one. He aint fought even half the class of what Alexander has faced, not even a couple of fights before going into this fight against credible world level fighters. Not one prep fight. Its like going from the slots, to the main casino table and thinking you know whats up like John Wayne. With the swag to match for all to see.

Its a huge step, the great unknown, we dont know, not even Kell Brook knows, do not underestimate this step for Brook. It's like going from fighting Audley Harrison and Matt Skelton to fighting Tony Thompson. Mind the gap!

If Brook does not establish control on the front foot in the first couple of rounds, where he walks Alexander down and backs him up, and makes Alexander respect him, this fight will be a shutout for Alexander.

Alexander looks busier, AND WE KNOW in the US, Judges like a fighter that looks busy. Brook doesnt look busy. Brook looks like he is carefully selecting each and every one of his punches. They are few and far between, and even rounds where he lands more than Alexander, the judges will be swayed just by the busy movement of Alexander, regardless if Alexander is landing much or not.

We saw this in the Bradley-Pacquiao fight, sometimes just looking busy wins you rounds, even if you land less than your opponent in the round. Alexander has a busy style, Brook doesnt. Its foreign ground for Brook, its in the US.

The more I think of this fight.

Its just got Alexander UD written all over it. No wonder Dwyer on youtube is so convinced.

craney you make some good points but a couple of issues you're overstating a hell of a lot.

- Carson Jones fight. Means jack **** really for this fight. There ain't too much to be drawn from that, its not like Carson is a low level version of Alexander. It's like chalk and cheese, there is no point in reading anything into it particularly in its proper context. It doesn't even matter if Brook + Teams excuses are meaningful.

- The competition. Yes Devon's fought a lot of good opposition but he ain't beat that many of them convincingly. Plus if we were all to be this headstrong about competition no fighter would ever make a breakthrough and George Foreman would still be dominating the heavyweight division and you may as well not fight Bernard Hopkins or James Toney.

No traps, weak pecs, arms bigger than delts, underwhelming lats considering his profession and who was legs?

It's a good thing this is a boxing match and not a bodybuilding competition, he looks like ****.
