My first line does clearly say 'I know its his Mandatory'

It also says ' Its a shit look' - do you not agree?

I did - I thought Sam deserved the win and seems to have found a second wind since his last loss BUT,im not talking of the quality of Soliman im talking about the promotional view of it,how the normal aussie will see it as,which will ultimately be "didn't mundine ko this guy"?
Get where im coming from?

Mundine KOed Soliman 5 years ago.

The normal Aussie either won't remember that far back, or if he does it means he has been following boxing long enough to understand what a 'mandatory' is, and that Geale had no choice in fighting Soliman.

Correction to my previous post >>>

Mundine KOed Soliman 6 years ago.

The normal Aussie either won't remember that far back, or if he does it means he has been following boxing long enough to understand what a 'mandatory' is, and that Geale had no choice in fighting Soliman.

All 3 of Mundine's wins over Soliman were in a different weight division to where they are fighting now, as well.

Good and valid points. But did he beat him? YES (end of story)
Yet Geale lost to mundine 4years ago and the country remembered that? even further back Mundine beat Green - th whole country knows that don't they?
3 fights equals 3 promotional runs etc etc which would leave a longer memory as you have heard it l 3 times over a decade or so?
it aint like im talking about Juane Dowling here

In order for someone to be able to remember all 3 Soliman vs Mundine fights they would have to have been following boxing for over 11 years.

I don't know anyone who's followed boxing for over 11 years that doesn't understand what a mandatory is, and that because Soliman is Geale's mandatory he has to fight him.

Exactly right. I'm rapt we are getting another world title fight between two Aussies and can't see any point trying to detract from the fight. Bring it on.

It's a legit world title fight, any ducking of Solomon would contradict a lot of what's been said about other world champs. Solomon earned his shot, wants a fight with Geale. It's a privlidge for it to be a fellow aussie and to have the cards in our hands for a change

Golovkin fighting a pathetic opponent compared to geale, Daniel has everything to gain

Wanker im no detracting anything..Soliman deserves to finally get a shot and think it will be competitive....BUT its going to be VERY VERY VERY hard to promote (which is my point)

What a knob you are ...11 years? I know people who know Jeff Fenech,Lionel Rose,Tony Mundine,Lester Ellis ,Barry Michael etc etc Yet would not even know what IBF is,or what weight any of them fought at,but just know the names, and All whom have been retired for donkeys years, yet normal aussies with minimal boxing knowledge still know their names,so I laugh at your 11 years

A legit world title fight between two Aussies on home soil won't be hard to sell, and it's pointless trying to detract from it
