Ive always thought that Dirrell is the most talented fighter at 168 but it dissapoints me how inactive he is.. He's wasting his prime years sitting on his ass while making lame excuses about " Dr Shahai "..
I seriously think Dirrell is the only one who's capable of beating Ward.. |

It is going to be a long road back to being relevant again for Dirrell.
Pretty sad for a guy who seems to have all the physical tools to be a top level boxer. |

don't like dirrell. at all. his brother is a/was a far more entertaining fighter.
BUT gbenga is super rock solid. hard defense with a granite granite granite chin. also a puncher. just has little workrate or solid technique. easily outboxed and outworked but it can be a hard nights work. dean francis, luis garcia, bukom banku, charles adamu, jermain mackey. all fighters of decent b to c class opposition. and he has reached the final bell everytime. only time he wasnt was when he fougth a cruiserweight...and in that the news items use the phrase 'stopped' so i deduct he wasnt knockedout. saw him fight francis and a kamoko highlight and he is pretty fun figther if he is driven. gave francis a hard workout. anyways this is more underrating gbengas advantages than dirrells power. he was never going to stop him. although to be fair gbenga was never going to win unless he dropped the bomb and in that he wasnt going to catch dirrell sprinting round th ering. |
