*STOP PRESS*

Listings have appeared this morning for a 11 1/2 hour Canvas Classics marathon on Sky Channel starting 10PM/8PM Xmas Night. I'm currently trying to get confirmation and if this is true hopefully will be able to provide a full rundown.

Fingers crossed.

Yeah, thats what I thought to but I contacted Mat Brooks after seeing that 11 1/2 hr listing and he told me that it was just a replay of Chavez Jr-Vanda II.

I hope hes wrong and they do show eleven and a half hours but he would be in the position to know about this stuff imo.

I did mention the idea of a boxing day marathon but it seems even though we both thought it was a good idea if he did that he reckons he'd be out of a job. I was gonna ask him to take one for the team so we could watch a shitload of fights but I'll let him off this time.

Maybe they could show the Jack Johnson-Tommy Burns fight in full seeing how it'll be 100 years to the day since that fight took place in Sydney?

Thankfully Azteca have already come in and said they'll put their hand up to cover 45 shows in 2009.
