![]() He'd be favoured to beat all of the guys guys below him, and he's achieved more than any of them. If he performed terribly in his first fight in the weightclass then there would be a problem, but he didn't. He performed as well as anybody has against Aldo. ![]()

So the next challenger for the LHW title isn't ranked in any weight class, anywhere at all? Why have 'Official Rankings' when it seems you can call someone out on Twitter and walk right into a title shot in a new division?

I wouldn't have given Sonnen the shot. But it seems he got it based on his willingness to fight Jones on basically no notice at all when nobody else would go near the fight, coupled with his ability to sell the fight. Without the Jones-Hendo fuckaround, I doubt Sonnen walks into a title shot. But he was the only man who was willing to step up and get his ass kicked on a week's notice so that the show could go on, and the UFC has a history of rewarding guys who are willing to go the extra mile for the company. ![]()

Most people probably could nitpick about some rankings and some rank their fighter higher than others because of favoritism and other things but as you said dont think there are any problems with them
