Just checked in to correct that. Just remembered he's not even fighting Brook. What the fuck is he doing negotiating with Floyd then.

The thing is, it's not likely he's just baiting fans and creating controversy, unless he'd go so far as to sour relations and play with a boxer's persona like that through the media with no basis in fact.

Well, to be fair, the fight isn't yet announced. So I'm curious as to why the fight hasn't been announced yet. Floyd said Devon is the frontrunner.. wtf does that mean? He is fighting him? He isn't fighting him?

Why announce someone as a front runner if you're going to fight them? Why not just say: May 4th, PBF vs Alexander????

Can anyone help me understand?

The term is often used to mean the most likely person, but obviously, it's not signed yet, so it can't be announced.
