Would like to point out that many of you who are clammering for the IBF to strip DA, were complaining when the IBF have stipped fighters who take bigger fights/unifications.

This pisses me off for 3 reasons.

1) As a huge huge Mayweather fan, theres only one fight for him that I care about now and thats the Alvarez vs Trout winner. Fair enough thats a tough fight so you want a warm after being in prison. So at least fight a Light Middleweight. Bundrage, Kirkland, Angulo would al be better fights than Alexander.

2) Brook vs Alexander was an intruiging fight.

3) Fans are going to slag off Hearn/Brook when they fight somebody shit for the vacant title but that wasnt there fault. They wanted to fight Alexander and were prepared to do it in the US and that shouldnt be forgotten.

Mate I wouldn't even waste your time being a Floyd fan, I used to be a Floyd fan until it dawned on me he is NEVER gonna give us the fights we want, I'm not saying he's scared of Pacquiao, Alvarez etc physically, but certainly he's scared of taking on a tough opponent and risking losing his 0.

He's a ****ing disgrace, I can't stand him, and I will NOT be buying this fight.

Yeh I tend to agree. Most will know I have always been a big Floyd fan but tjos is the final straw for me.

I still feel that his resume is massivley under rated and his abiltys are downplayed by many fans on this forum. But since the Hatton fights hes only had two meaningful fights (Mosley & Cotto) and even those happend later than they should have.

Also I disagree with his lifestyle and it annoys me that he constantly mentions his faith yet leads the mose un christian life immaginable.

gutted for Brook.

If this is true then it really is sad.

I wouldn't be so sure about the IBF stripping Alexander either, you only have to look at the Froch-Stevenson situation in that regard.

Its actually quite intresting to see a fighter become irrelivent while remaining undefeated. Guys like Roy Jones lost and were shot, continued fighting against weak opponents and losing.

Froch/Hearn followed the IBF rules and applied for an exemption. The IBF give all promoters a deadline to meet before purse bids are called and a unification can be made in that time. In this case the contract has been signed for Brook vs Alexander.

The only way I could see Hearn/Brook agreeing to the IBF title being avalible would be if Brook got a big fight on the undercard May 4th vs Josesito Lopez or Marcos Maidana and then fights for the vacant IBF later in the year.

i reckon it will be Alexander then Pac then retire
Marquez doesnt want Another Pac fight so Pac will probably destroy Rios then realistically him and Floyd could both easily retire so why not make the fight between them
if Floyd dont sign to fight Canelo or Trout this year i think hes duckin them

Shit fight.

I was actually looking forward to Brook - Alexander, but I suppose money talks.

I feel genuinely gutted for Kell, even though I'm not his biggest fan.

The IBF will sanction it. Money talks and this fight will make the IBF a lot of it. Bet eddies fuming.

Floyd wants an easy fight to protect his "0" after coming out of prison.

Purely depends what is in the contract regarding a unification fight but the big difference here is Brook has a signed contract. This is typical GBP bollocks, thinking they can steam roll over who ever they damn well please.

Alvarez is on a guarantee of $2 million per fight at the moment.
