The former European champion will square off with Osumanu Adama (20-3, 15 KO) in Verona, New York. The fight will be the main event of Friday Night Fights, aired on ESPN2. First though, Proksa will face lee Noble on a card in Belfast this Saturday

Damn good fight if true and it's good to see Proska keeping active and not moving into obscurity after his loss to Golovkin.

Proska still has a lot of potential IMO.

I do like Proksa. Was high on him after Sylvester. Hope loss was absolute trash, lost a lot of stock.

That's a good comeback fight for Proksa. Decent opponent, US TV exposure, he'll be back in contention with an impressive win.

I think he's also fighting a journeyman this weekend on the Frampton-Martinez undercard to get the cobwebs off.

You know, at first, listening to the analysts, I thought Proxa nudged the fight, giving Hope many of the rds they were calling for him.

But after reviewing it without the volume, even the rds Proxa played off the ropes, most of them shoulda been his.
I had it 8-4 after rewatching it, and you gotta score the 9th for him, a Hope rd, simply for the point deduction for butting after the 8th.

I cant count that loss against him anymore, no more than I can count DelBoys loss to Helenius.

But woah! Chisora 12-0'd Helenius in my opinion. Proksa/Hope was a close ass fight which I think the fairest result would have been a draw.
