A while back it was reported that Solis would go to Main Events. That would be sweet--he should get away from King and co. Unfortunately Oner has probably invested alot more in Solis then they've gotten in revenue. It's sad--we could have seen Solis in with Cunningham or Jennings or Chambers by now.

Wlad has fucked everything up with his insistence to take another voluntary.
The Povektin fight should be on the top of the agenda.
The way i see it , they are trying to derail the fight.
I dont buy this summer excuse because Boenty is quoted saying he didn't want it last year either.
Povektin will be the first guy Wlad will face in a very long time who will dig deep and press him hard.
He opted out of the Chisora fight for the same reason and AP is a lot better and faster than Chisora.
I dont think he wants the risk at this stage in his career.

look at the solis fight and post fight presser... After solis was done...before the announcement in the ring, look at Oner, he is literally chewing on a corner mans shoulder to keep from losing it

and then the post fight presser when Oner totally LOST IT
Sounds like Oener didn't place any bets on a Klitschko KO1.

It just doesn make sense to me.

Therefore I feel this argument to be flawed.
Holmes was absolutely considered the linear and Ring champion when he fought Frazier, like Martinez, and was defending THE title regardless of a sanctioning body choosing not to sanction it. I don't see the flaw, really. It wasn't intended to match down to the smallest detail, only a matter of counting defence of he actual title whether or not one of the four major sanctioning bodies have signed off on it. And for the record, he was a more credible challenger than Pia-no-wait, in character. Never mind.

Well had the ring title but did he ever have the traditional lineage?

Well that depends on definition.

If Ali was still champ in retirement then he was never champ because tunney would have took that title to the grave.

If Ali was champ and new lineage can be established them it depends on criteria.

Holmes never beat 1/2 whilst 1/2 so those insistent on that criteria wouldn't consider him champ.
He never unified all the belts so those who insist on that wouldn't consider him champ.
He was ranked number 1 though so I'd consider him the man (not at the point of Frazier fight, I had him losing to spoon ya see).

My main reason for calling the comparison flawed is there was never really a debate as to whether or not Martinez was champ, but debate about Holmes legitimacy raged throughout his career.

I knew you were going to do this. Stop. Let's not get into a nowhere-headed linearity argument with one person who regards linearity and one who doesn't, let alone drag in unofficial scoring to further complicate matters or your own personal premiere fighter regard. Let's focus on the main issue of whether or not it was a title fight. Now, if you regard the Ring title, and I have no idea why anyone would regard the ABC titles and not the Ring title, historically, as you would regard, say, Hopkins/Calzaghe or Hopkins/Tarver at light heavyweight, then you must regard Frazier/Holmes as a title fight as well. Simple and not bringing in any of these other debatable issues. That was a world title fight. Just not with the WBC. Just as Martinez's fight with Dzinziruk was.

Wlad is 100% fag. Fighting all these easy fights. His camp can take up for him all they want. Look at how many PPV's he in selling here in the USA. thats right none. Most here don't even know who he is. Wlads bullshit fights can't even make it on espn360. He fights easy fights and he does it because he can't take a punch and he has cheese skin that cuts with ease.
