No worries m8, i enjoy doing them, havent done one in a while, it was long over due, just wish i had caught the first three rounds. Im still puzzled how pretty much everyone had it as a 12 round fight but it was changed mid way through the fight. I dont think SBWs corner had anything to do with it and i belive khoder is corrupt as they come. We all know what was going to happen if it went for 2 more rounds, it cant be a coincidence that everyone including weigh in, bookies, ring announcer all had it as a 12 round fight then it was changed mid way through the fight. No doubt in my mind that something fishy is going on but thats boxing, its why we need it to be managed and or regulated by a federal body. These orgs cant be trusted as far as you can throw them.

Fuck this shit - i hope that legal action is taken. Why should boxing - which is a major betting sport - be held to a lesser standard when it comes to the integrity of it's contests? I'll be sending emails.

Sonny showed us a noticeably improved jab, right hand and left hook as well as a suprising chin but the ref was really weak. Sure, Sonny held excessively but Botha was allowed to land really damaging blows when Williams wasn't defending himself. One punch in particular clearly stunned Sonny Bill and Botha promptly exploited the situation by pushing the ref out of the way and punishing him against the ropes.
I understand everyone's outrage over the ending but this fight was fucked from the start and it wasn't Sonny Bill's fault. |

Botha was trying to punch out as SBW was excessively holding trying to spoil bothas inside work. SBW should have been deducted more points for holding, in the end botha just took matters into his own hands and rightfully so. I dont agree with everything botha did but given the circumstances i dont see he had much other choice.

It's still hard to fathom that it was changed to a ten rounder mid fight. Yes these kinds of shifties went on in sports before, but that was well before the days of tv, etc. really hard to see how heads won't roll after this, if it was indeed intended to be a 12 rounder.

Either everyone was in on it (bar SBW and Botha) or it was management. I haven't seen the fight but surely the ring announcer knows the name of the guy who told him to do it. It was apparently reiterated over the loud speaker during the 10th round.
Who told them to do it? Kneejerk move by Khoder Nasser or it was fixed with money from the start? It's a bold move considering the week in the media. FairPlay to the two boxers in this one, I reckon they're clean. |

The WBA would have to be the first to comment surely. A bloke sued Subway for a footlong sandwich being 11 inches. ive never bet a hundred bucks on a ham sandwich but this is the equivalent of ten inches.

![]() This was always for 12. Only apologists are saying otherwise. (and one mong on the General is even crying foul claiming that Botha ought to have been disqualified and Williams shouldn't have even had to endure his beating in the 10th! )
