I think his management/family don't want to put him in with a tough opponent(someone his own weight class who can punch) since he's getting married a month later, if he's taken out again it would ruin his wedding.

it has to be a soft(not too tough) one, he has a big wedding coming up and you know that will be heavy. They should throw him on the mayweather undercard IMO.

If he does, Niko bless him. It's probably just the thing for him at the moment anyway. It's how I'd be managing him for a fight or two. Besides, he's earned it, as far as I'm concerned. Kotelnyk, Salita, Malignaggi, Maidana, McCloskey, Judah, Peterson, Garcia, culminating in having his already compromised brains rattled like hell. 8 title fights in a row with six championship names of some stripe or another. I hope he does have another virtual gimme.

He doesn't owe it to anybody to do anything.

Exactly, alot of boxers would do well to follow suite, he's certainly not scared of putting his record on the line and getting in with the best.

He's just a popular fighter to dislike! Oh yes cos sometime's he talks crap..

I doubt it will be a soft touch but it won't exactly be a top level fight either. Probably be one of those "respectable" opponents who'll Golden Boy and Sky will tell you is a top fighter but actually beating him won't achieve much. If Khan really has gone up to 147 like everyone is saying then it will likely be Senchenko here in the UK.

Making that fight would be the smart move in my opinion, Senchenko is good but not amazing and it could be marketed as the "revenge mission" for what he did to Ricky. It would help get the UK fans on Khan's side for once plus help him settle at the weight. Let's hope that's their plan. Another fight with a no-mark like Molina would be pointless.
