Nice list.

On the grounds of entertainment alone, gotta think about including Vazquez, Marquez, Gatti, Ward, Augustus, Corrales, and Castillo in such a list!

Ortiz's last 5:
vs. Josesito - great action, just short of a war, climatic on stool retirement
vs. Mayweather - great action in 4 rounds, drama, climatic n controversial KO
vs. Berto - epic war
vs. Peterson - multiple KD's, good pressure and countering action
vs. Vivian - aggressive start, multiple KD's, early finish
Plus, earlier:
vs. Maidana - the most epic war on this list, probably in this thread

Ortiz definitely deserves a mention.

Also Amir Khan does as well. His fights often gurantees entertainment.

Berto is ok, although not a fan of his hit and hold tactics.

I don't care to watch Berto either, but his last four ever since the Hernandez mismatch early blastout have been great watches.

Not to be a douche or anything, but Ortiz happened between Cotto and Mosley.

I think Mayweather/Ortiz is one of the most exciting fights in his career, for certain. 4 rounds of high action, good drama, and an infamous ending. If you were showing somebody a whole Mayweather or Pacquiao fight and they weren't into boxing plus had a short attention span, Mayweather/Ortiz is the best it gets.

So say we count Ortiz as good, I would call it great but I'm biased as can be since I was there, it would make your count: 1 stinker, 1 ok, 2 good, 1 great in last five.
Oh, shit...how the **** did I leave out Ortiz? Well, that fight would be in the "good" category for me. At least, it was starting to get good.

JMM III was boring. Not much happened at all. One would be hard pressed to put together a decent highlight video.

I'd rathr watch Marquez over these 2.

A mix of great boxing abiity and skills, plus entertaining toe to toe action = JMM.

JMM-Pac 3 certainly was NOT boring.

JMM's masterclass performance was a sight to behold.

Pac-Mosley, now that was boring.

I thought his fight against Casamayor was excellent too.

Pretty fast paced exciting chessmatch.

Nothing comes close to pacman v barrera, pacman vs marquez, and pacman vs terrible (even with him losing). golden age of 126/130lbers.

Mayweather. I'd rather watch a skilled boxer taking on solid oppoents. Than some guy who swings wide and fights never would be's and washed ups.

I don't know. Can't I get 5 each? 5 classic Pacquiao battles, 5 Mayweather clinics? Manny's fights are exciting even in losses, and Floyd's methodical application of his skills is a pleasure to watch. I think I re-watch Floyd's fights more often, but only by a little, since I can learn more from his style and like to quantify his weaknesses given he is undefeated.
