Default Guerrero or Alexander: Both present similar challenges for Mayweather.

Both have a couple of fights at 147 and more experience in lower weight classes.

Both have few chance against Floyd.

Do you want to see Canelo fight Chavev Jr and Froch as well?

He may want Canelo vs. Ward too.

Neither of them will happen. Mayweather is going to pull a Klitschko out of the bag. You wait and see.

Guerrero seems to be more mature and collected in his fights, Alexander has more athleticism in some areas but isn't as effective as an aggressor. His best performance has been Maidana in the midst of clinching and throwing rapid-fire combinations while circling, something he doesn't have the timing to do against Floyd. Guerrero on the other hand showed skill and careful punch placement at all ranges against Berto, and never had a Bradley-type meltdown. So I'd say he's better.

devon would lose all his heart in 4 rds. once he saw how easy floyd could find him, he would start looking for a way out. i think guerrero would keep trying even if he had to take the dirty route. floyd would look better against devon but i think both of them are too small to really test floyd.

Guerrero quit against Yordan, and Guerrero was initiating a ton of clinches vs Berto.

Alexander has a 5% chance
Guerrero has about a 15% chance
Alexander will only look good against brawlers, think he beats Guerrero tho

Neither fighter has a particularly good chance. However, style-wise Devon vs Floyd would be terrible and Devon doesn't have the pop to bother Floyd(or most top class Welters) at all. This is compounded by the minor detail that Devon grunts a lot when he punches, which imo is a pretty annoying fighter habit. I'm envisioning Devon dancing around Floyd landing virtually nothing while barking with most of his shots while Floyd is passively chasing him and occasionally popping Devon with a counter, doing enough to win the rounds, but little else.

Guerrero will at least bring the fight to Floyd, try to rough him up, and make a go of it. He doesn't have much of a chance either being too small and simply not in Floyd's class as a boxer, but it's a better fight than Alexander would make.
