I tried for 2 tickets together up to 80 each, could not get them at all, only 100+ left before an hour was gone. ****in' touts should all be kicked in the **** by a pair o' steelies.

Just wanted to put a few points over as to why PPV for this fight could be a good thing too.

These are the fights that should be getting coverage, being watched and spoken about and PPV is a way of monetarily incentivising these type of fighters to get in the ring together and take some bash for their cash.

The more exciting, 50/50, toe-to-toe fights between two respectful warriors at the top level of their division that get made, the better, and if promoters see that these fights make more money it may help these riskier match-ups to get made, which gives us better fights to watch and also attracts more casuals which is all good long-term for the sport.

I'll be watching at a mates and chipping in a few quid.

I'm going to it it luckily. Way I see it I paid for the 1st fight an this is PPV quality so why wouldn't I pay for this one? If it was just me watching it it may well depend on quality of undercard. But even then, jut get 2 Myra round have a night on the beers watch the footy all throw a fiver each in and have a great night. Couldn't think of much better myself

dont think ill watch on ppv, lets face it undercard is gonna be absolute bollox not worth the money for it imo, i refuse to fork up for these ppv fights that are not worth it......im from the old school when ppvs were the business and well worth your money

Despite being a fan of new age promoting I will be slating Eddie if the undercard is poor.

Barker/Lee would be a quality support bout.

Brook won't be on it, Frampton is back out on 11th May and seems to be an attraction now in Ireland.

You'd have to assume Yafai will be there and sadly McCloskey.

That said I will pay for it because I am not watching a stream on a laptop when I can wath it on HD on a 50 inch telly.
Surely as a professional boxer Froch has the right to make as much money as possible from each fight and if PPV gets him more money then he would be mad at best to turn it down

Yeah man! Power to the people!

You sure showed them, by not increasing the 1,140 per year you spend on television to 1,155.

Its a victory for the common man!

****ing mug.

You are so disgusted by PPV that you are going to pay for it.

That'll show them!

Your logic is backwards. The money that Froch is apparently asking for is likely out of keeping with what he generates. Really, he should be winding his demands back in rather than going on PPV - IMO. I don't demand a payrise because I'm amazing, I need to show I generate the income that would warrant it.

Inflated pay packages are part of the problem with boxing, especially as i becomes more and more marginalised.

Also, sticking the best fights on PPV, away from where casual fans might casually come across them, seems something of a contradiction in terms if that's what you think PPV will do.

PPV has never been a good thing. It's a broken model that limits your potential audience for a short-term gain. Pretty much boxing's problem as a sport.

They said they will be putting on a big undercard but realistically who could it be....
Bellew - Fights less than 2 months before so not enough time
Barker - Probably fights on it but only has 11 weeks to prepare
Rees - Could fight on it for WBA title (if he loses V Broner)
Mccloskey - zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Brook - If he fights Alexander it will clash (could fight Vacant title on the bill)
Frampton - Fighting May 11th at Odyssey
Ryder - Only 'big' fight realistically would be V Saunders
Purdy - Has to beat Carson Jones and then who could he fight?

To me there looks no BIG fights to be made, realistically the best we could get is Rees fighting for WBA title (when does Abril fight for it) and Barker V Lee
