Default Broner is just a guy fighting off of athletic...

ability. He does some positive things in the ring such as not forgetting about the body and uses the uppercut, but he has A LOT of flaws. When he throws shots, he is off balance and wide open for any shot thrown back. His shoulder roll doesn't have much foot movement. His head movement is nonexistent along with a quality jab. He stays flatfooted with his feet spread apart and that was exposed by DeLeon. He lost to Marroquin in the amateurs. Marroquin has a good right hand and probably exploited Broner's defensive weaknesses and could take the power due to amateur style. Broner said DeLeon hit him the hardest of anyone he has faced. He was seriously flustered by a blown up featherweight's shots. Matthysse hasn't been bothered by anyone's shots in a fight. The man was hit in five rounds 88 times by a 64 inch man. Even when jumping in(which you should not do in any pro match) Rees hit him.

He will be carefully managed by Haymon and as soon as he fights a B level guys at 140 he gets beat. Depending on the guy, he gets KO-d. No fights on a high level in the amateurs have really done him a disservice. Magdelano and Verdejo are more polished at this point.
