I used to see Wilf Greaves quite a bit round about 1989/90 where he worked as a weilder in a recycling/salvage dumping station on SW Marine dr Vancouver, I was in Waste disposal and used to tip there! excellent chap he was, looked a tough little ****er too, he must have been in & around 50 then.

Lonnie Bennett. If he was more durable/consistent he'd have been a real chore for pretty much anyone at Lt. Heavy. One of the best jabs in the division's history when he was on. Conteh had to go into bull mode to get the job done against him, because he was not hanging in the battle of jabs, which says a lot. Jesse Burnett was another. The B-Netts.

Derrick Jefferson was the record lottery, Flea. So many heavyweights were salivating over that guy. He was getting rather big with HBO, and every top 20 heavyweight on the planet was convinced that he was the rarest quality fight in the game: An easy and decisive but absurdly entertaining win.

We followed every fight, I'm pretty sure, hoping somebody else didn't get there first, which Izon did, in the typical Derrick Jefferson FOTY contender.
