What about at some point in the early 80's? Not sure who was Champion in each division at what exact time but Sanchez, Arguello, Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Hagler, Spinks, Holmes, Pryor and Gomez were all champions at some point.

Flyweight: Santos Laciar
Bantamweight: Pintor/Chandler
Featherweight: Sanchez/Pedroza
Lightweight: Alexis Arguello
Welterweight: Ray Leonard
Middleweight: Marvin Hagler
Lt. Heavyweight: Michael Spinks
Heavyweight: Dokes/Weaver

The Heavies are the only weak link. Otherwise that's stellar.

Holmes would have been the heavyweight champion then, no..?

That means no weak links.

1937:

Joe Louis
John Henry Lewis
Freddie Steele
Barney Ross
Lou Ambers
Henry Armstrong
Harry Jeffra
Benny Lynch

The thirties are underrated.

Thanks I was looking for that year just based on fact Monzon, Duran and Ali were champs at one time. Seriously, hard to top that era just off those three alone.

I forgot to put the year: 1982. For '83 you'd have to omit Sanchez, Arguello, and Leonard.

Not a single unified champion. Quite depressing really.
definately a contender for funniest post of the month - trying to be secretive and quiet as am at work but that made me do a sudden belly laugh out loud haha

Most of the individual years of the 70's were just epic IMO.

In 72, you had Duran, Monzon, Frazier... plus Foster, Napoles and Olivares.
