No wonder phone calls were made to Goldenboy wanting to promote Khan in the Uk to keep him on Sky
Anyways Senchenko, Marquez, Soto, Lopez, Bradley, Vargas all said no due 2 weight issues or they just didnt want 2 fight and get back to us

I doubt very much doubt they'd agree to let Khan go. Love him or hate him, Khan is Britain's most famous boxer. Sky would be mad to lose him to a channel like BoxNation, even if he does fight shite opponents like Molina for the next while.

I commented on a post while back saying about Sky not being able to sign deals with promoters and fighters because they have an exclusive deal with matchroom that would void that deal. I hope it isn't true but it wouldn't surprise me because of how Sky are with boxing at the moment. Someone must know some more info?!

Well that's a load of bullshit. Vargas and Bradley are TR plus they already have fights lined up. Don't think Marquez is signed with Top Rank but he's with Beltran who works closely with TR and he's at the stage of his career where a Khan fight doesn't mean shit.

Senchenko is a welterweight so 'weight issues' means he understandably doesn't want to boil down to 140 (might not be able to make 140 at all). Josesito has said he'd be willing to do it at around 145, 144 but Khan only wants it at 140. And Soto would be a shit fight anyway.

Glen mccory was world champion for 3 months. Who's he to say to me to retire. I was 2x world champ from 2009-2012 and will be champ again.

He fucks up time and time again this Khan. Glenn McRory has stated countless times that he's a massive fan of Amir Khan, he's a lovely kid, he's achieved a lot and should be proud etc, and Khan slags him off in return. I've defended Khan many times on this forum but the guy is just a twat.

Khan is still burning full of ambition and the fight remains within him. I lost four out of five fights, was stopped in three of them and then went on to win a world title. Lennox Lewis got knocked out twice and still went on to have an illustrious career. So I'm not saying that it's not possible, but Khan's nature is to get in fights and when he gets knocked out, he takes big shots.

We saw him sparring with an amateur, taking punches. We know he spars with Manny Pacquiao and takes punches. Boxing is a serious, serious business and it's got to be handled with care.

Amir has so much going for him. I don't expect him to listen - my three-year-old girl doesn't listen to me unless I'm telling her to get the sweets out the cupboard, so I don't know why Amir would listen to me. I'm just saying that I retired around 25, found Sky Sports and have been doing that for the last 23 years.

I can't say enough that I think the world of Amir Khan, and that's why I think he should walk away.

He could do anything - be an ambassador... you know - take Johnny Nelson's job... I think Amir and I would make a great double act. Come to think of it, I'm really looking forward to seeing Amir in Johnny Nelson's seat because I'm sick of carrying Johnny...!
