That's completely different arsewipe. Bunce attacked me personally so I just felt the need to stick up for myself. McCrory didn't attack Khan, he just gave his opinion which is his bloody job you idiot, he's a pundit. Khan attacked Glen below the belt, having a go at him over his career. If he didn't like what McCrory had to say he should have just ignored it, Glen meant no harm and every can see that.

Go take your face for a shit because it's practically dripping out of your mouth.

Khan should fight Kell Brook.... oh wait, Brook can actually throw a punch. Can't put him up against an opponent who can hurt him can we.

@AmirKingKhanGlen mccory doesn't no what fights he's taking about. Skysports need a different boxing pundit.

He ****s up time and time again this Khan. Glenn McRory has stated countless times that he's a massive fan of Amir Khan, he's a lovely kid, he's achieved a lot and should be proud etc, and Khan slags him off in return. I've defended Khan many times on this forum but the guy is just a twat.

This is what Glenn wrote about Khan

as you can see, McRory was full of praise for Khan and didn't have a bad word to say about him. In return Khan had a go at him. I'm done defending his dumb ass. Stupid ****in' wanker.

I think most most 26 year old fighters would be annoyed by some idiot telling them they should retire because they've been knocked out. Roy Jones, Evander Holyfield, Shane Mosley etc etc are guys that should be retiring. Not Amir Khan.
Glenn is an idiot for saying that. I think he's jealous of Amir.

Missed that, just saw some tweets from Lopez and his trainer saying they'd be more than happy to fight Khan at around 145.

143 is fair but Lopez is saying he's a welter now and that extra pound or two may just be too much for him. Especially since he went up to 154 for the Canelo fight. Definitely not an unreasonable demand from Team Khan though.

Prescott was an unknown. Khan's management expected him to utterly destroy him.

Garcia was respected but, again Khan's management thought it was gonna be an easy fight.

Maidana is a decent fighter but in reality, he's on the same level as Paulie. A tier three fighter firmly behind the likes of Brook, Alexander, Garcia etc. Again, he was an easy opponent picked for Khan.

Face it son, Khan gets handpicked opponents who are expected to be easy victories but would look good for him. Like an over-the-hill Zab Judah and an over-the-hill Barerra.

There's no way he'll ever face the likes of Burns, Brook, Alexander or, the elite of the division like Mayweather and Marquez because he'd get knocked the **** out and his management know that. Khan't wouldn't even have the balls to step into the ring with Broner.

I'll respect Khan when he steps into the ring with the likes of Burns, Brook, Alexander, Mayweather, Vazquez rather than fighting nobodies, over-the-hill fighters or blokes like Maidana and Paulie who are tier 3 tops. I mean, he's on about fighting Senchenko next...

Come on... Senchenko is shit.

To be fair many were saying that he would never step in the ring with Maidana. Then when he beats Maidana all we hear is "Maidana is shit anyway so who cares."
We all know he was desperate to face Tim Bradley and that fight would have happened if Bradley wasn't waiting for his contract to run out so he could sign for Top Rank.

Maybe so, but most people who are balanced and don't get over emotional could also see Glenn's point of view, even if they disagree with it. Personally I think Khan should carry on, but Glenn isn't just saying Khan should retire because he got knocked out. It's because he's looked badly hurt when he has been knocked down, and it's worrying. Khan doesn't have to take the risks anymore because he's done made it already, and has a lot going for him. Is it worth the risk when he's already become a world champion? Clearly to McRory it isn't, but people have different goals. It's not enough for Khan to be called a good fighter, and he may want to be a future hall of famer or p4p king. Remember, people were saying the same thing about Hatton. Yeah okay, Hatton is older than Khan and hasn't lived the life of an athlete, but the retirement suggestions were because of the same reason-a concern for the well being of the fighter, rather than a dismissal of their ability. No need to burn bridges when the person giving advice means well.

They'll come a time (and we all know it will happen) when Khan gets sparked out again.

If he plans on moving up to 147, it will happen a lot sooner.

Lets see what Khan has to say about Glenn McCrory then!

Cry me a ****ing river you precious little prick.

McCrory is a punch drunk idiot, if he suggests that a man should retire then he should expect the flak coming back.

Nice shifting of the goal posts there. Earlier you said "can't put him in with anyone that could hurt him can we?". Khan was hurt and knocked down against the likes of Limmond and Gomez, domestic level opponents. Yet they put him in with Prescott who was undefeated at the time and had something like 18 KO's from 19 fights. What did you expect? For him to face someone world class? He still faced a puncher didn't he? Okay then. I'm right.

Irrelevant. Could the guy punch? Yeah, clearly. Did they put Khan in there?
Yeah. Besides, so what if the management thought it would be easy? A fighters team will generally only take a fight they are confident of winning, unless they are looking to cash out, so what's your point?

well they must be doing a shit job of hand picking considering he's lost three times, for **** sake.

Yeah because Brook and Burns have really proved they are on a completely different level to the likes of Maidana and Peterson haven't they? Khan will probably not face the elite of the division because he will likely get knocked out before he has a chance to do so, not because he doesn't have balls. Khan would make a lot of money fighting the likes of Mayweather and Marquez, so do you really think he would turn down the chance?

Yup. Nor is it unreasonable for Lopez not wanting to go below 144. Like you say, he probably feels he's a good welter now.

But Khan's team seem to be wasting valuable time going for guys who at such short notice aren't feasible. It's already nearing March, and they've not come anywhere close to getting an opponent set, nor has Khan even started training yet.
