Why did 'W' never sign Price?

After the Olympics and after the collapse of Setenta, Dubya could have signed Pricey. He clear was Britains biggest promoter on both occasions and yet each time he passed on Price. This meant lesser promoters such as Haye and Maloney moving in.

So why did Dubya pass on Pricey at a time when he could well afford him?

Probably because he thought he was no good and would be a waste. He said in an article he wrote on the Scene this week that after watching him get knocked out in the Olympics he thought Price wouldn't go very far once he turned professional. To be honest how was he to know that David have awesome knockout power? We didn't really know about until fairly recently. Maloney was probably the only one who believed in him from the start. Shame because Frank is ****ing useless these days at managing fighters.

Not many wanted him after the Olympics defeat, he'd sparred with Haye and they rated him so he signed with them, then the tv deal went bust and in came Maloney.

I think it was the Butler fight that got people talking then the massive win over Tom Dallas ..

I think Frank had faith in Chisora, The money wasn't there and i think he wasn't sold on him. The Hayemaker Promotions collapse stagnated Price's career until the last 18-24 months.
