The exact same as it would've gone had you asked yesterday. That fight yesterday has no relevance to a Burns fight.

I think Broner is too good, carries real power at the weight and either stops Ricky late or puts him down once or twice on the way to a comfortable win.

I hope I'm wrong and it's been pointed out there are flaws in Broner maybe Ricky can exploit with his jab and movement, but to me it looks like there's more to come from him.

Still think Burns beats broner, people are getting gassed over last nights fight which in my opinion was probably less impressive than burns beating mitchell.

Ricky's got to fight Klitschko style. Jab and move.

I said after mitchell I wouldn't pick against Ricky again and I'm gonna stick to my word.

Lets see how he looks in his fight first.

Broner did look very good last night but he also got clocked a lot!!!

Unfortuanately for the last few rounds Rees did what he said he wouldn't.

He stood right in front of Broner.

Pretty simple for me, always has been....

Broner just hits to hard at the weight, & Burns doesn't have the pop to back him up.

Depends where the fight happened. At the moment I think it is close, cagey early on and all about the centre of the ring. I don't think Burns would have seen anything that would have concerned him last night.

What I thought was interesting was that Jim Lampley said Ricky Burns "priced himself out of a fight" as Broner wanted to make that fight, but ended up having to make the Rees fight instead.

I personally think that if Burns beats Vazquez, we will be even further from a fight happening.

It will become clearer after that fight, I hope Ricky wins so we can have the argument again. But I dont see the Broner fight any closer. But you know what, that Vazquez fight is a ridiculously tough fight, because of how Vazquez fights, he DOESNT stop moving. And IMO if Ricky wants to win that fight, he has to bring it like no other fight and stop Vazquez in his tracks. If not Vazquez will dance the night away behind a jab, taking a UD.

I think Broner was right when he said a few days ago - "I think they've bitten of more than they can chew"

Adrien Broner is in a win-lose situation here, because if Vazquez does win, that is a fight that can be made the next day. However, if Ricky Burns wins, we are still no closer to a fight between Burns vs. Broner.

As for the fight itself, I'll maintain that Adrien Broner wins the fight by KO/TKO/Corner stoppage/Ref stoppage, anyway he can stop the fight, he will do it. Like I mentioned in the past, Adrien Broner is bulging at the weight, he is to big, to powerful, to fast, and to good. How he is squeezing into these weights I'll never know, he was just as big as Sakio Bika in the fight before. He is clearly a middleweight fighting at lightweight. Its almost cheating. His shoulders tell you he is fighting at a weight below what he should be fighting at.

In the early round last night, I gave the first 2 to Rees, because Rees was getting some success as Adrien Broner was trying to figure him out. Just like Floyd Mayweather, the first couple of rounds they seem to throw away or not be as tip-top, as they are trying to adjust accordingly to the opponent. While I see Ricky maybe having some success in the first 3-4 rounds. Broner will lick all the sauce of the plate, come out for a round, just like yesterday, and turn it on. You reach. I teach.

The way to counter that, is when he does, fight another way to. You have to switch when he does. The perfect example of that was last night, where Gavin Rees did alright for 2 rounds, and when Broner switched on, he didnt change it up, he still fought the same way, and Broner finished it. Its common sense to see, Broner has figured Rees out for two rounds, money in the bank, and then came out and fought in a way to finish the fight, so the problem lies with the opponent, when he switches YOU SWITCH. You have to move along with the times, you have to keep up.

Can Ricky Burns do it? Is he at that ELITE level where he has the ability to do that? The ability to change his spots if/when the fight needs it?
