Default Realistically, how far will Tom Stalker go?

In my opinion, I think he's similar to Chris Eubank Jr, as in he has speed and good boxing skills, but he lacks the power to govern any respect. I mean, if he can't at least hurt an opponent like he fought last night, then I don't see how he'll go any further than British level. The opponents only get tougher and more resilient, so I personally see him struggling. And he's 28, so he doesn't have a vast amount of time to improve, whereas Eubank has time on his side.

You can't really read anything into last nights fight, Laight just came to survive so it was always going to be difficult for Stalker to look good

Do you guys think it was the right thing to stay amateur until now..? If he did not go the Olympics he would not of signed with Eddie Hearn and i presume now that he is earning decent money "PER FIGHT" who knows..?

If he would of turned pro 4 years ago, what would of happened..?

Buisness wise, i think now was the time for him to turn professional.

no body can make a legit guess based on last night. he has the backing of a big promoter and is popular, sells tickets etc. so he will get chances.

with boxing its not all about ability. work ethic and opportunity play a huge part.

Not far in my opinion he just doesn't hit hard enough plus time is not on his side.

Doesnt hit hard enough and way too open for counters, basically a knockout waiting to happen.

Why does everybody keep talking about age, he's 28, he's still young in today's era. With good nutrition and supplementation age should not be a factor.

Ability wise..? I have not seen him fight yet, i switched it over as he was fighting.

Depends what his lifestyle is like, he's not one of these fighters who just eats right and trains during camp etc..

He needs to keep the amateur work ethic, most amateurs get lazy as professionals.

****in hell 1 pro fight and he's already feather fisted???

Some people in this forum honestly need other forums away from boxing to post about, how about you give Tom Stalker one clean shot on your chin and then after youve woken up tell him he cant punch

British level for me, hasn't got a lot of power and he will find it difficult to keep people off him in the pros.

His opponent had been stopped 4 times in just under 160 fights; two of those being very premature stoppages. I'd hardly base anything on not stopping him.
