Maybe Towers for the British? Win the Lonsdale belt outright, help him get his confidence back up again. Then maybe see if they can get Thompson for a rematch?

NOT Audley though.

Kevin Johnson srs. Would be a great win to get him back, could go 12 easily, good name and see if he could stop him. Johnson would probably go into his shell and not fight back!

That's why I included Guinn, never been stopped. He needs an opponent like that. Sprott would be decent too.

If he fights bum of the month and blasts them out of there in 1/2 then what's the point? It will do nothing for him, he needs to get a half decent opponent and as soon as possible.. Also if he fights someone that nobodies heard of, BoxNation and the fans wouldn't have it

He could have beaten Thompson imo but he should have been more patient and not try to force the KO. A point win would have been ok but Thompson may have gotten careless and been KO'd. He was silly for trying to rush Thompson thinking he'd fold the same way people like Harrison and Skelton did. Easy for me to say with hindsight when it's not me in there but him and his team are the pros and should have known better.

My pick is Towers, he needs to get some hype back. They should have boxed someone like Guinn instead of Skelton imo.

Dimitrenko. Towers would be decent as well as an easy sale fight where joe public sees him win 'The European title' to get right back in the mix.

Risky fight. Towers can punch but Dimitrinko has proven world class power. Still a decent fight for now or the near future.

I really think Sprott could stop Price.

I'd like to see him figt Sherman Williams. Williams is durable and he punches like hell with both hands. If Price can get past him, and preferably stop him that would prove something.

Then an assignment against another durable but limited guy like Guinn would be a nice segue into a Thompson rematch. It'll only hurt Price's career if he doesn't get serious rounds in the bank.
