School me on him. I'm intrigued to know more about this man.
He was one of 3 heavyweight touted on the cover of Ring magazine to take over the division from Tyson, Lewis and Holyfield.

Either that date is off by a few years or it's the wrong tournament.

The one I'm thinking of is a multinations in 1998 when David Haye was a light heavy.

When Povetkin was a mere heavyweight and even when he stepped up to super he couldn't even medal in Belfast when David Haye won his medal.

I think Audley Harrison has more talent than somebody like Carl Froch but a combination of things which he explains himself stopped him from justifying his talents, but its all part of the journey. I think Audley Harrison's true talents should of seen him mix it in at world level and give decent performances, that at-least.

Before he was beaten, i think his ability was unknown, people where confused.

Somebody like Carl Froch, who in every department seems to be good or average accept for his toughness, i don't think people "Who really knew boxing" rated him highly.

Nigel Benn was a pundit on one of his early fights and questioned his work ethic and level of opponents (didn't he fight a milk man at one point?). Needless to say he wasn't invited back on the BBC after that!

Also the lack of punch resistance is exaggerated at heavyweight.

Lightweights get hit by lightweights.

Middleweights get hit by middleweights.

It's a super variant.

Oliver McCall / Bernard Hopkins has a good chin.

Carl Froch has a good chin for his weight.
