Actually it does, because you said this, and I quote -

Proska stopped Sylvester in 3 who Geale went life & death with

Anyone who has any idea about boxing knows it just doesn't work like that.

The way you're carrying on about GGG, considering he hasn't beaten anybody of note, is simply ridiculous.
It was just as ridiculous as saying Mandy will beat Geale, considering Mandy hadn't beaten anyone of note for years.

We all saw what happened there.

Didn't Golovkin beat Geale in the amateurs?

Has to mean something sox. Geale has faster hands, better defense. Golovkin has better power and chin. Should be a great scrap If it ever happens. Geale will try to outbox golovkin and I think he will at times but golovkin is gonna eventually land his hard shots on geale and we will find out how good geales chin is.

True.

Better power, sure.
Better chin? That's unknown as it hasn't been tested.

Geales chin is pretty solid, have you ever seen him on rubber legs?

It would be fair to say neither boxers chin has been tested fully though.

I think it would be good fight too, one in which Geales chin will hold up IMO, mainly because GGG won't be able to hit him clean enough, often enough.

From what I have seen of golovkin, I think he has a fantastic chin, an iron chin tbh but ur right he hasn't faced someone who has really tested him so far, so is unknown a little bit. Geale has been dropped many times before, and by less then top calibre opponents. I'm still worried about gealeys chin, If he gets hit cleanly, which is very hard to do by the way.

Yes Geale has been dropped a few times but he's bounced straight back up.
They were only flash knock downs.

I've never seen him on rubber legs.

Those knock downs were also some years back, he's changed his style slightly, not as open.
GGG would find it very difficult and frustrating to get in there.

Geale has improved a great deal in his defence since the sylvester fight. Which is y he is one of the best middleweights in the world. I have all of gealeys pro fights on DVD, got a couple weeks back and I'm eager to see if he actually has been hurt or not. I heard he was nearly gone against Gonzales, have u seen that fight sox?

Ooh ooh, those DVD's would be nice...

I have seen the Gonzales fight, and I just watched the first 2 rounds on YT again.

The second KD took him by surprise for sure - but to say -

Gonzales down in 1st. Geale down twice in 2nd - lucky to see the round out.

As Boxrec does, is somewhat of a stretch IMO.

He didn't bounce straight back up as quickly as he did in the first KD, but he finished the round easily, although cautiously.

Gonzales was also not knocked down in the first like Boxrec mentions, but he did have a standing 8 count put on him.

Even the best get caught now and again.

So GGG has power and a good chin. Ok good, should be an awesome fight then, beacuse when his power finds no mark, and he wastes it trying to knock out Geale, where goes the fight go then? Geale takes him into the depths and drowns him. Same as all the other "power" punchers.

One thing that no one has really mentioned about Geale, that I think is worth adding is his growth into a proper middleweight.

This was clearly evident when you compared the first fight vs Mundine to the second. In the first fight, Geale appeared lighter, smaller and much less physical than Mundine, his effort (and I thought he lost a close one) was based on his speed, skill and endurance.

In the rematch it looked like the kid had grown up, he was at least as strong as Mundine, probably stronger and just seemed to be a proper middleweight where he wasn't before, his punches carried more force and so on.

Sure, that doesn't mean he will beat GGG, but Geale is no skinny kid any more than gives up anything to proper middleweights.

Question for everyone.

Forget chin or power for a second, who is technically the better boxer out of Geale and Golovkin ?

Geale, by a wide margin.
