Either you're a troll, or this is genuinely hilarious.

What are you, his alt? It's a dumb ****in question. When you have that many people calling you retarded, it's not hating, it's the truth. Deal with it.

But how come you think it's a dumb question? Because Floyd just don't have the athletic ability to pull it off? Or because he's too old now?

What did you all have for dinner?

Me and Floyd had grits and Clover ham. I forgot what me and Broner had when we went out.. It was just some fast food. I talked to Max Kellerman on a daily basis too and he like my idea of bob/weave theories but he said Floyd is way too old now.

Employing the bob and weave style is simply useless at lower weights. Everything's too fast and too small for a style like that to work well.

Secondly, there is no analogue between Floyd and Tyson. Tyson's a natural heavyweight, in terms of build, muscle, punching power etc. ... he was already 200-odd pounds at the age of 16. He couldn't have been anything but a heavyweight.

Floyd's body isn't made for 160. Chavez Jr. was 181 against Rubio, which is 30 pounds heavier than Floyd was against Cotto. For Floyd to bulk up to those weights would be playing against his body's strengths.

But what if Floyd's body was made for 160? Say he was just a really big 5'7 guy? Tua was only 5'9 and he fight at 230. So say Floyd is stocky but still nimble on his feet? Could he have successfully implemented the bob and weave?
Did you watch Tyson vs BerbicK?

How big of a factor does punching power play into bob and weaving? Can Floyd implement this being as feather fisted as he is? Or he would have needed to be a big puncher?

But then he wouldn't be Floyd, he'd be someone else. What you're asking then is, 'could a guy who's 5'7 but a natural LHW effectively implement the bob and weave style?' Well, yes.

But that person isn't Floyd.

But could Floyd had implemented if he really want to go up to middleweight? Did you hear that Taylor wanted to fight him back in 2007? So say Floyd fought as a MW against 6'1 Taylor.. That will be like a 6 inch height disadvantage. Tyson at 5'10 was owning guys that was 6'4 with his bob and weave tactics. Do you think Floyd's philly shell will be superior to the bob and weave against Jermaine Taylor?

Floyd bobbing and weaving is just a ludicrous idea. There's more to it than his punching power. Power plays a factor, but not much more than other styles of boxing.
