Default So Who's Happy for Ruslan Provodnikov?

While he has tons of improvements to make, his stock has definitely risen and is probably going to score more high profile and lucrative bouts. For a non-English speaking immigrant boxer who is not Mexican in America, its incredibly unusual for him to get this far.

I hope this fight gives him more opportunities to make $$$ and enable him to retire comfortably.

Yeah, his stock has definitely risen.. he showed the world what he can do but I DO FEEL bad for him. Poor guy was crying after the fight, he put his heart and everything into it just to lose to the limping wheelchair ambulance champion. It's tough.

He deserves another shot at a title. A rios bout would be amazing.

I never really understood why so many people dismissed him. In my view, the guy was a decent world class fighter with a good punch, who because of this could beat a lot of top guys potentially. While somewhat surprised by how well he did against Bradley, I was not totally shocked either.

I would of been more happier for him had he got the decision he deserved it.

A lot of people are unsure how he would handle the move up.

But he really is a capable fighter.

I dismissed him after he struggled with Emanuel Augustus on friday night fights but obviously he made improvements since losing

Not really. Obviously he had Tim in worse trouble but you can't ignore the boxing skills Tim displayed in this fight. At best, it would probably be a draw in my book.

A draw is a fair result I just feel Timothy got lucky with a few knockdowns and has got another questionable decision.

nothing special. he is one of many limited russian fighters we are so commonly used to seeing in boxing these days.

don't get me wrong - some russians are very technically sound, but they're probably in the 5% of russian fighters at top level.

i don't see him lasting long against any other top 147 fighter...probably a top 30 fighter at best.

He deserves a lot of credit for bringing the fight to Bradley.

Roach has made slight improvements but it will take more time for real changes to be noticed. He'll definitely get more opportunities because of how great the fight was. In the loss his stock went way up.
