Default What's next for Morales if he loses?

Should he retire? Maybe finally fight Marquez if he beats Pacquiao, then they BOTH retire?

he could lose and still get a big fight. it all depends how he looks against garcia, morales is at least fighting better then rjj and better comp. out of all the faded fighters still fighting, morales is on of the decent ones left. what ever he does ill support him.

he is 6-6 in his last 12 fights. and his prime was super bantamweight. 36 is ancient for anyone who started fighting at that weight. yes he should retire. this shouldnt even be a sanctioned title fight, team garcia are the frauds

I don't even know who he's fighting and it doesn't even matter. He's already left his mark. It's a pity that he's fallen into the same trap so many others have over the decades, but it's almost a comfort in some sick way to include him in that pantheon. I guess.

I guess what I'm saying is, I'd feel better if he'd found peace without it and gone on to something else in his life, but christ....it's so hard to find it.

Bless him. There ain't many like that.

Retire for sure.

Maybe a cupcake fight in Mexico to go out with a big win.

That is all...

Not much out there for him. He had to use a diuretic to make the weight, so is he going to jump to welterweight now?

If he's competitive with Garcia again then he'll still be viable and will probably get another opportunity(Rios? Marquez?). If he gets embarrassed then the show's over unfortunately.

He could , I suppose, but the only realistic matchup that would be compelling at all would be a rematch with Maidana. His legs aren't there anymore and he simply doesn't punch hard enough to KO bona fide JWWs and WWs. He could still school top 20 and top 30ers all day but that's not why he came back. He came back for big fights and big money. Guile alone will only get you so far against these guys.
