Of course, there are plenty of boxers in history who had HOF careers despite having fragile mandibles. Patterson was a lineal champ and fought the best from almost the start of his career. His chin wasn't as strong as his courage though.
But no, Bute and Patterson are not even close in terms of legacy.

Well, JuanMa has a slight build,(Bute is taller than Froch) but both these guys got the same rap (Salido). Different approach, same outcome. Not to say he couldn't do it (he likes to set traps) It's worse for Bute because he has a more experienced resume to be discarded by some people.
