Default If Manny gets knocked out again, do you want to see him fight on?

I do. I think he still has enough to beat some good 140's. Even if he gets knocked out again, I think he can still pose a good threat to most out there at 140-147

He hasn't been elite till 2010.

Might as well make as much money as you can, I think he still remains a big draw.

Even if he gets knocked out again and again, he can realistically still get 450-500 k ppv buys.

Do you like seeing what's happening to Jones? because if this does happen he really will fall down that path

Its ****ed up sometimes for financial reasons they have no other choice but to keep fighting.I think after trout fought cotto, cottos wife told him that was it she didn't want to see him hurt im pretty sure no one likes to see their loved ones hurt. Its ****ed up cottos reply to his wife was "this as all I know". Pacquaio definitely brought the sport some much needed exposure I would not like to see him suffer from taking prolonged beatings when he should be enjoying what he's worked so hard for....

I don't even want to see him fight on now, let alone if he was to get KO'd again.

Depends on the kind of KO he will suffer.
If he will be out cold like that again, then hell no.
No amount of money can rid you of blunt-trauma diseases when you get old.

If he is conscious, maybe.

But it all depends on if he want to fight still.
If he doesn't anymore, then by all means stop.

The best thing to come out of Manny's lights getting put out is the swift disappearance of all the Pac fans from this forum!!

"Pac is the greatest ever, Pac would KO Armstrong in 3 etc...etc"

I want to see Pac keep on fighting for maybe 3 more fights, save the cash and retire and enjoy life. But i cant see it, too many leeches bleeding him dry. He will be a Roy Jones/Holyfield type.

If he gets KO'd again, he should retire and I hope he does. He's got other things going on, cares about his country, nothing is worth someone's health because of an obsession of chasing something you no longer possess.

Fact is, another KO will mean it's an irreversible psychological decline.

I think he showed more than enough prior to the KO that if he applies himself, Pacquiao is still a force to be reckoned, only Pacquiao haters will deny that he hasn't looked that good since 2009 but he got reckless, pure and simple

But another KO, I hope he retires as there's nothing else to prove. THe only reason to fight on now is to show it was down to recklessness, beat Marquez and try and put the biggest ducker in boxing history in a tough spot once again...

The thing is Jones actually has some a decent supply of money still, he did have some tax problems with a certain property in 2009 but he still lives in a pretty upscale suburb in Florida, no doubt he get's also a decent gig on the side with HBO.

It's possible because some Glass Jawed fighters just can't help themselves. They keep coming back to the table to get their Chins Shattered again and again. One only has to look at Roy Jones Jr.

Atleast Jones never had a Bob Arum type figure giving out orders of who he had to fight and when, Jones gets his glass shattered on his own terms while Pac looks like he'll be getting shattered on Bob's

Loss by UD

Robbery of the year

He is on one hot streak at the moment

This is true, Arcane. Pac is Arum's lamb to the slaughter. He will bleed him dry for all that he is worth and all that will be left is a shell of a fighter, reputation and legacy in absolute tatters.

if he can still fight at a high level, then it wouldnt bother me.

He looked great in the marquez fight, so i want to see him continue.

The KO is irrelevant to me. He could win his next fight, but look terrible, and done for, then i'd want to see him retire.

It makes me laugh when people point at the Marquez rubber match as a robbery yet call the Bradley fight a justified UD, surely both were robberies?
