Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne will take on three-divison world champion, James ‘Lights Out’ Toney and Solomon Haumomo will face-off against Oliver McCall on Sunday, April 28 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Undefeated Browne will face 44-year-old American, James Toney who boasts a record of (74-7-3). Toney hasn’t fought since April 2012 where he beat Bobby Gun, and before that lost to Denis Lebedev via decision when he had to cut down to Cruiserweight. Browne is one of Australia’s emerging Heavyweight prospects and with 14 KO’s from 15 fights, the Hatton signed boxer will be looking for win number 16. Also on the card, Solomon Haumono takes on former WBC Heavyweight champion Oliver McCall. Haumono is coming off a 5th round TKO in Osaka, Japan on New Years Eve, while 47-year-old McCall has been beaten in 2 of his last 3 fights. Already booked for the card, Daniel Ammann will take on Kane Watts for the Australian Cruiserweight title. It is yet to be announced whether the show will be televised. |

so does oliver fight for the oz title, or the opbfxyz title?
clearly oliver is not an aussie, but it seems anyone from anywhere these days can fight for any belt. he won't win anyway, but interesting to know nevertheless. |

This sol's hardest fight. He won't stop McCall! McCall can be out boxed can Hamouno do it I'm not sure. Iron chined Oliver has never been down And can bang. His level of competition in the last couple of years is a class above Hamouno. I hope sol wins because he is a champion bloke and has talent.
But it's a big test my hat goes off to him. Now lets hope Oliver takes him lightly. |

Probably not. But Mark my words if there is 20% left of the Toney that stopped Holyfeild Lucas will get stopped. Sorry but Lucas's level of competition is very bad to say the least! He also hasn't been chin checked yet weather Toney is the man to do it remains to be seen.

These two warriors hopefully will meet on the Browne vs Toney fight card but its not 100% until there in the ring but if all goes well it looks like a good fight who wins? I'm picking soli in 9
