Default Did Whitaker and Holyfield remain friends or what happen?

Anyone know? They were at the Olympics together, seemed to hang about each others fights after. Anyone know anything?

And Whitaker had cocaine and more cocaine to look after and acquire!
Sometimes in life, things happen where even best friends have to go their seperate ways( and sometimes die, like my brother's best friend from high school last year).

One was a born-again Christian and gym rat and the nexus result of those being his two chief personality traits was that he dogmatically treated his body like a temple (and, er, manufacturing plant).

The other was a freewheeling atheist (I'm like 95% sure, but don't ask me to cite a source...just an inference based on some things Pea said over the years and the fact that he never waxed on about giving 'all credit to [insert deity]' like many boxers) who at his lowest points snorted coke by the fistful.

I'm guessing their lifestyles and philosophies at some point simply didn't mesh. Both hedonists, but different vices.

...and the religion thing can dissolve a friendship in a hurry. When you have one person thinking "you're a delusional nutter praying to a big daddy in the sky!" and the other thinking "you will burn in hell for your sins, infidel!" there is quite a disconnect.

The evolutionist, SNV-denialists I've lost as friends, let me tell you...
